Pairsine is where premium beverages and spectacular cuisine collide

Wine Country Network, Inc, the publisher's of Wine Country International magazine launched the first annual Pairsine, Taste of Elegance Chefs Food and Wine Pairing Competition in November 2005, in Denver, Colorado. The Pairsine Chefs Food & Wine Competition has evolved into Denver's most coveted annual culinary/wine event selling out each year. Some of Colorado's most outstanding culinary talents have competed in Pairsine, including Top Chef Season 5 winner Hosea Rosenberg, who was our three time champion, BEFORE he gained television fame!

Wine Country Network is excited to be taking it's signature competitions on the road this year. We look forward to working with some of the country's most talented chefs.

HOW IT WORKS:

10 wine savvy chefs compete to make 20 custom paired epicurean delights with 20 award-winning wines!

While the event is sometimes referred to as "Iron Chef ™" meets wine, participating chefs have no secret ingredient. Chef's are provided with sample bottles of wine to taste and develop their custom paired dishes.

On event day, the participating chefs will create custom paired dishes, served in appetizer portions and staff will pour wine samples alongside the chef's food table.

A panel of notable food and wine critics/experts will taste each culinary creation with its assigned wine. They select the "Best Chef" and "Most Creative" Chef winners.

All consumer attendees also get to cast their votes for the "People's Choice" award. A valuable prize is awarded to the "People's Choice Chef".

Charitable Auction: All Pairsine competitions will raise money for a selected local or national not-for-profit, charitable organizations, via silent & live auctions.
